About: Max has been involved in the movement since the mid-80's and over the decades has been a hunt sab, a campaigner/protester and organiser. He is perhaps best known for his involvement in the "3rd wave" of the UK ALF in 1991 after the murder of hunt sab Mike Hill. During this wave, massive levels of economic damage were inflicted on UK animal abusers. Max received a 3 year prison sentence for his part in that wave. He is known for being uncompromising when it comes to Animal Liberation.

Presentation — The 90's UK ALF and it's impact on vivisection.

With a mix of hard-hitting short films and a talk, Max will guide you through a time of huge levels of ALF actions; closures of breeding facilities, ending of research programmes and massive levels of economic sabotage. Learn how the UK ALF saved 1000's of lives and reduced the numbers of animals abused in Labs. Discover how this happened and how much influence, one man, his friend Barry Horne, had on these victories.
