Presentation — How NOT to advocate for animals under fascism (and what to do instead)
The modern vegan movement was birthed in 1944 shortly before the second world war ended, which means that most of the people advocating for animals today in the global west have never had to do so under the direct threat of fascism and autocracy. However, as the resurgence of right wing political ideologies spreads throughout the west, now is the time to learn fast. This talk will focus on the influence of tech billionaires, Zionists, wellness culture, and eugenicists on the movement and what they mean for animals.
